I am a Southeast Iowa baby and living in the big city of Des Moines. I love working out, cooking and reading. Photography, for me, is so much more than taking pictures. It's telling a story. Storytelling has been a love of mine since my junior year of high school. I took a multimedia class where a short form video was broadcasted throughout the school each week. "Falcon Daily News" is what inspired me to tell people's stories, interview them, and get to know my camera.

 

Since then, I have been strapped into helicopters to take photos over Kinnick Stadium, told stories of people 95 years old to eleven years old, and spent six months in Maryland to learn everything I could about graphic design, photography, videography, written narratives, and working with the media. I now use my schooling and experience to capture people's stories from all walks of life. I love showcasing couples' love, spending wedding days with the bride, and ultimately having fun with families and friends.
